With construction of the 34-metre yacht Project 111.11 nearing completion at the Netherlands-based shipyard, recently unveiled renders exhibit the practicality and Moon-inspired aesthetics of the vessel.Due to be delivered in 2024, the custom yacht Project 111.11 features exterior design by , while her interiors are derived from the drawing boards of .The US-based designer was reportedly given free reign of the yacht’s lavish interiors, as the clients informed her, “‘You have carte blanche to do whatever you want, Carla; let us see some reference images at the start and then you lead the way with your imagination,’ they said. It’s everything a designer wants to hear,” Guilhem recalled. One truly custom aspect of Project 111.11’s indoor living spaces is the asymmetrical lounge, and an additional beam that gives way to a full-beam master suite located on the main deck complete with a spacious walk-in wardrobe.Furthermore, four comfortable ensuite staterooms, including two twin staterooms and two VIP amidships with personal desk stations, ensure a comfortable stay for the remaining guests onboard.Guilhem drew inspiration from images of both the Moon and Mars, which is especially evident in the oval shape of the windows, star-like lighting fixtures, and the loose furniture that give the impression of an aerial, floating atmosphere. Among the vessel’s centrepieces is the palatial, futuristic main saloon, where brightly coloured plants, softly spherical sofas and armchairs, unique sculptures, and a formal dining area flanked by floor-to-ceiling windows compose a welcoming social hub.The same style of rounded, ecru-coloured furniture can be found in the yacht’s equally comfortable bridge deck saloon, where an array of vegetation and geometric coffee tables convey a connection to modernity as well as nature. The unexpected use of geometry extends to every detail of the yacht, down to her luxurious bathrooms equipped with asymmetrical or oval-shaped mirrors and fashionably monochromatic marble. When it comes to Project 111.11’s accommodation, a colour palette defined by crisp whites, creams, and beiges, state of the art entertainment systems, along with overhead lighting arranged in the thematic oval-formation, provide staterooms with an opulent yet practical feel.In addition, the VIP staterooms’ contemporary, cream-coloured desk areas overlook an expansive sea view ideal for quiet concentration or contemplation.According to designer Guido de Groot, the yacht’s angular exterior silhouette reflects the client’s penchant “for straight lines, with all angles pointing in the same direction going forward”. Moreover, “four decks on a 34-metre yacht is no small feat and every deck has its own specific requirements. The choice to have a chase boat rather than an onboard tender freed up space in the aft area for a fold-out platform and a lovely lazarette entertainment area with room to store jet-skis and a gym,” De Groot added. This collaborative creation is currently beginning to manifest at the yard, and is expected to be delivered to her owner in the third quarter of this year.
