Mattress veteran Curtwright returns to his roots in case goods with new executive role

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. – Veteran home furnishings executive Billy Curtright has been named as vice president of sales and marketing for California-based , an importer of dining room, bedroom and occasional furniture. Curtwright has 31 years of experience in sales management, with posts at Standard Furniture, Human Touch and most recently leading sales at mattress supplier Magniflex.

Curtwright will focus on growing Urban Styles’ presence in the Eastern U.S. The company says it sells to a dozen of the Top 100 furniture retailers, with most of its distribution on the West Coast.

“We have found the right person to lead our growth on a national basis,” said Martin Ma, company president and owner. “Billy has the experience and attitude to expand our company’s footprint eastward. He is not only well-known in the industry, but he also brings a vast wealth of knowledge on importing, design and marketing. We look forward to getting started with his game plan.”
