Bridgerton stars and have revealed they broke a piece of furniture during a sex scene.
Season three has focused on the blossoming relationship between Colin Bridgerton (Newton) and Penelope Featherington (Coughlan), after Anthony () and Kate () got their happily-ever-after in season two.
To celebrate , Coughlan took to to share an image of herself and Newton with their thumbs up next to a broken chaise longue.

Coughlan explained how the blunder occurred during a recent appearance on , saying: “We did stop because we broke the furniture when we were doing it. We were really going for it.
“We’ve worked together for so long that we can communicate without having to say much, and I knew that we were both thinking ‘We’re killing this’.”
The actor previously opened up on as a big “f*** you” to trolls who have criticised her weight online.

“I specifically asked for certain lines and moments to be included. There’s one scene where I’m very naked on camera, and that was my idea, my choice,” she told .
