SALT LAKE CITY – Citing an uptick in remote workers, e-commerce furniture supplier Walker Edison has introduced a new home office furniture line.

“As 52% of the workforce has adopted a hybrid schedule– – working both at home and in-person at a physical office space – Walker Edison has filled a consumer need for more home office furniture options,” the company said in a release.

The new line features four desks and five bookshelves. Each piece has different features, including reeded detailing and waterfall edges. All are made from a combination of warp-resistant MDF and laminate, which the company cites as a durable mix.

Walker Edison’s Holmes collection contains several modular options, allowing buyers to mix and match different sizes of bookshelves and desks. The Chantelle collection focuses on curved lines and statement pieces.

The company didn’t include pricing information but noted that items are “affordable.” “Thrifty work-from-home employees can order on-trend pieces like the waterfall writing desk or arched bookshelf for a fraction of the price of leading competitors without sacrificing quality.”

The line includes items for a variety of living spaces, from studio apartments to family residences.

“Each piece is also designed to flow in other rooms of a house – not just the home office – as work-from-home employees often end up working in common living areas or bedrooms,” the company said.
