e-ggs x miniforms collaborate for lunar-inspired fixtures
A collaboration between , and , the Rificolona fixture brings gentle radiance to any living space. Its light softly diffuses through a tactile material reminiscent of the lunar surface. This effect is achieved by interacting small grains of polylactic acid (PLA) with the light, resulting in a subtle and uniform illumination. Inspired by the artist and designer Bruno Munari’s journeys in Japan, the Florence-based designers and the Italian furniture company aim to spread comfort through their design. Named after Florentine folklore, Rificolona allows one to enjoy its shape, even when turned off fully, and becomes a decorative element in varied environments.
