The furniture store Ashley opened a new location May 18 in one of Aiken’s fastest growing regions.
The new location at 2535 , in between Target and Planet Fitness, is the first Ashley location in Aiken. It’s also the former location of .
Ashley furniture says it is the largest furniture manufacturer in the world. It brings function to durable and stylish furniture, General Manager Jason Sessans said.
“So you’re not gonna come in here and see 50 different bright colors, ok?” Sessans said. “It’s gonna be furniture that is functional for people who work at home in many different homes, many different styles of homes.”
, based in Fort Mill, manages the Ashley store on Whiskey Road.
The store opened with 10 employees , Sessans said.
Ashley on Whiskey Road’s grand opening is set for some time in August, which will be commemorated with a sale.
